White Chocolate Bread Pudding

8 slices of bread

1 pint heavy cream

3/4 cup milk

1/2 cup sugar

6 oz white chocolate

1 teaspoon vanilla

3 large eggs
-
4 egg yolks

1 cup pecans
Make in greased 8 x 8 pan
Cut bread into squares. Place on cookie sheet and toast in oven at 300 for 15 minutes. Turn once.
In sauce pan heat cream, milk and sugar. Bring to boil. Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate and vanilla.
Beat eggs and egg yolks in bowl. Add to milk and pour over bread in 8 x 8 pan.
Set at least 3 hours. May set overnight.
Top with pecans and bake 1 hour at 300.

Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies
Heat oven to 325. Beat brown sugar, shortening, molasses and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients except granulated sugar.
Shape dough with ice cream scoop into rounded 1 1/2 inch balls. Dip balls into granulated sugar. Place balls, sugar side up on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 13-16 minutes or just until set and cookies appear dry. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack
